We're Hiring!

Join Our Team!

We are looking for a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC/LPC) to join our growing team.

The Role

The ideal candidate is a compassionate, skilled, and self-motivated clinician who enjoys building meaningful relationships with clients and working collaboratively with other professionals. This position offers the opportunity to develop a caseload that aligns with your clinical interests, strengths, and areas of expertise while becoming an integral part of the Stillwater community.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Providing individual, couples, family, and/or group psychotherapy based on clinical experience and areas of interest
  • Completing comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with professional and legal standards
  • Providing ongoing evaluation of client progress and adjusting treatment approaches as appropriate
  • Collaborating with clients, families, schools, physicians, and other professionals when clinically appropriate
  • Maintaining ethical, professional, and culturally responsive standards of care
  • Participating in clinical consultation, supervision, and team meetings
  • Managing scheduling, communication, and other responsibilities associated with maintaining a clinical caseload
  • Building and maintaining strong therapeutic relationships with clients and families

More Than a Caseload

At Stillwater, we are intentional about creating a practice where clinicians are more than individual providers working under the same roof. We want you to bring your own personality, perspective, creativity, and clinical strengths to our group.

We value the individuality of each clinician and believe that the unique interests and personalities of our team make Stillwater stronger. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a community, contribute ideas, connect with colleagues, and help shape the continued growth of our practice. You don't have to fit a particular mold to join Stillwater. We want to know who you are and what you bring to the practice.

What We're Looking For

  • Active Illinois LCPC/LPC license in good standing
  • Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a related field
  • Experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and/or groups
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to ethical and client-centered care
  • Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • A warm, authentic, and compassionate approach to clinical work
  • A genuine interest in contributing to the culture and community of Stillwater

We welcome clinicians with a variety of therapeutic orientations, specialties, backgrounds, and areas of expertise. We are especially interested in learning what makes your clinical approach and perspective unique.
